The emir with his “Katara II” stops in Salento: a 124-metre yacht with a helicopter.

It is without doubt one of the largest and most luxurious yachts in the world and is currently docked in the port of Gallipoli. It is the “Katara II” of the Emir of Qatar Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani. The powerful emir, one of the richest men in the world, is also the owner of the Paris Saint Germain football team, and is likely to be enjoying the beauty of our coast accompanied by his three wives and eight children. The 124-metre yacht has suites, a swimming pool, a gym, a wellness centre and a heliport inside.
